Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Slice entire slab of King's Hawaiian rolls horizontally in half using a serrated knife, keeping top and bottom halves intact.
Place bottom half of rolls into prepared baking dish.
Arrange half of sliced ham evenly over bottom rolls.
Place Swiss cheese slices over ham, covering as much surface as possible.
Add remaining ham slices on top of cheese.
Place top half of rolls back over ham and cheese layers and press down gently.
In small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, brown sugar (or honey), garlic powder (if using), salt, and pepper until well combined.
Evenly pour butter mixture over tops of assembled sliders, getting glaze into all crevices.
Cover baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is mostly melted.
Remove foil and bake additional 5-8 minutes until tops are golden brown and cheese is bubbly and completely melted.
Let sliders cool for a few minutes before slicing apart along original roll perforations.
Serve warm.
